Next up on the Warhammer docket - it's an Age of Sigmar League! Get ready to head out on the Path to Glory!

This league is designed for players of all skill levels to grow a new army, develop a better grasp of the rules, and overall enjoy a fun event for Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

This league will begin at 1000 points (more specifics below) with a cap of 1750 points. The league will not progress in the usual way with a prescribed increase in points each round, but rather will function using the Path to Glory mechanics within these bounds. Entry is $20 and sign-ups will be open until the start of the league. All league participants will receive 15% off Warhammer and Citadel products for the duration of the league.

The league will consist of five rounds over the course of ten weeks, with each round lasting two weeks. Players must field a Path to Glory army for the duration of the event, only making changes to it as allowed by the campaign rules.

Path to Glory rules begin on page 304 of the AoS 3rd Ed. Core Rules. Each player must fill out a Path to Glory Roster and Order of Battle (these will be provided) before their first match. The Path to Glory Roster is the record from which players will draw the army for each battle fought. Further details for filling out a Roster can be found in the Core Rules. Rosters/Orders of Battle will be kept at the store between matches.

Each player will start at Warband size (1000 points) with +2 starting Glory Points (for a total of 10). GP may be spent on upgrades, reinforcements, etc. before the first battle begins. The Points Limit on the table found on page 314 in Step 1 - Earn Glory Points will be considered to be the lower of the two armies if they are not equal in size for the purposes of scoring GP. Additionally, the reward for Fought a Path to Glory Battle will earn +2 GP each round, and the hobby points categories Fully Painted and Fully Based will be added to the table and are worth 1 GP each round (no matter the Points Limit). For the first two rounds, there will be a army size cap of 1500 points.

Each player must provide a reliable method of contact upon signing up so that opponents may coordinate times to play each other. Most players communicate through Facebook Messenger or our group Top Tier Wargaming Crew. We also have a Discord server (https://discord.gg/rAYXQEM) that can be used to communicate and schedule games.

Schedule
Every round, matches will be played using players' current Rosters. Pairings will be available the Monday following the close of a round on Challonge, and players will be paired against a similarly-ranked opponent. The Challonge link will be posted in our Facebook group Top Tier Wargaming Crew as well as on our Discord server (link above). All results are due in by the Sunday of round end by close. Results must be reported to the employee on staff directly after the match has finished by totaling the amount of GP earned in the current round and reporting that number to the employee on staff. Players must confirm gained and spent GP with their opponent after each game before returning their Roster.

NOTE: There will be no make-up rounds in this league. All matches must be completed and reported by the Sunday of round end. Players may forfeit matches to have their opponent receive full GP (Fought, Major Victory, Warlord not slain), and either player may bring their army for the round to the store/send a picture to be inspected by the employee on staff and receive applicable hobby points. If neither player wishes to concede, the match will be considered a tie, with each player only receiving applicable hobby points. Should any disputes arise, please contact Corey to help mediate and resolve the issue.

Any league participant who does not play their match for two rounds in a row will dropped from the league without refund.

Round One - max. 1500pts: Sep. 5th - Sep. 18th
Round Two - max. 1500pts: Sep. 19th - Oct. 2nd
Round Three - max. 1750pts: Oct. 3rd - Oct. 16th
Round Four - max. 1750pts: Oct. 17th - Oct. 30th
Round Five - max. 1750pts: Oct. 31st - Nov. 13th

Scoring
Matches in each round will add to players' overall score. Winners will be determined by overall Glory Points earned throughout the league, regardless of spent GP. As such, players must report the total number of GP earned each round, and pairings/winners will be determined using that metric. GP will NOT be deducted from a player's overall score when spending it during the campaign, however they must keep track of earned and spent GP for the purposes of upgrades, reinforcements, etc.

Scenarios
Games are considered to be Narrative Play. Battleplans will be pulled from the those found on pages 330-335 of the Core Rules. Players may mutually decide on a Battleplan or roll for any of those six.
