Magic Store Championship | Modern

  • Top Tier Board Games 4700 Hardy St, Suite W Hattiesburg, MS, 39402 United States (map)

Store Championships are back, and that means it's time to sleeve up your best Modern deck and throw down for the ultimate glory (and bragging rights)!

Join us for the Store Championship at Top Tier Board Games! $35 gets you entry to our Modern tournament with Swiss rounds and a top cut based on attendance (see note below about top cut). Each participant will receive a promo Flame Slash just for playing, while top 8 takes home a very special foil Archmage’s Charm and the winner receives a one-of-a-kind textless foil Dark Confidant. Why are they so special? Top 8 and Winner promo cards will have Top Tier Board Games printed on them! You can't get these anywhere else!

Additionally, two Set Boosters of Modern Horizons 2 are going into the prize pool per player, to be paid out to top finishers. We'll also have random drawings during the tournament for a random AFR Ampersand Promo, shockland Secret Lair, Mystical Archive playmat, and depending on attendance, even more! Player meeting is at noon with round one immediately following.

Please note: this tournament will be run at Competitive REL. As such decklists are required.

Regarding top cut: for 5-8 players we will run 3 Swiss rounds with no top cut. For 9-16 players we will run 4 Swiss rounds with a cut to Top 4. For 17-32 players we will run 5 Swiss rounds with a cut to Top 8. For 33-44 players we will run 6 Swiss rounds with a cut to Top 8.

We have a cap of 44 players for this tournament. Please preregister at the link below:
