We're trying out something a bit different for Commander Legends Baldur's Gate Prerelease - Two-Headed Giant Commander draft!

Here's the rundown: $25 gets each player a kit. Teams will open their kits together and look at their promos before the draft starts. Teams then pool their packs for six total, open one as a team, and draft four cards from it before passing it to the next team. Continue until the pack is gone, then the next pack is opened and the entire process is repeated over six draft rounds passing left, right, left, right, left, right.

Teams then have a combined pool of cards with which to build two decks following the normal building restrictions of CLB draft. Before play begins, players will have the choice of either playing against one other team as is normal for 2HG, or play in one giant four-team Two-Headed Giant Commander pod.

We're following normal Two-Headed Giant rules, with a few exceptions. Each team will start the game with 60 life. If a single commander deals 21 damage to a team, they lose the game. Each player will have one free mulligan. In normal 2HG (2v2), the team that goes first will not draw a card. In free-for-all (four teams at once) the team that goes first will draw a card.

Each player will receive a CLB Set Booster for participation, and the winning team(s) will receive a promo pack and additional Set Booster.
