The start of the holiday season is on the horizon, and with that comes the season of giving and a wonderful time to do charitable deeds for the community!

The Holiday Charity Event calls for every Duelist to bring a minimum of five non-perishable food items (minimum of 10.5 oz with an expiration date of NO SOONER THAN 3/1/2023 - items with expiration dates before this date will not be accepted), instead of an entry fee. Five non-perishable food items will be used for the tournament, in which one of the items will be at stake in each round, with a maximum of four rounds. The winner of each match receives their opponent’s item. At the end of the tournament Duelists trade the items they have collected for the same amount of Prize packs. Every Duelist will receive at least one Prize pack, even if they have no items left at the end of the tournament. At the conclusion of the tournament, each Duelist can receive up to 9 booster packs by turning in items.

We will have cans of food available for those who aren't able to bring any, which will be given out in exchange for the normal $5 entry fee.

The Holiday Charity Event is Advanced format, Swiss rounds, with a cap of four rounds. Matches are best two of three games.

This event will take the place of our normal Yu-Gi-Oh! Locals tournament.
