Do you think you have what it takes to call yourself the 40k Store Champion at Top Tier Board Games? Then this is the event for you!

We're trying something a bit different to give out the VERY cool glass trophy for our Warhammer 40k Store Champion. We'll be running a tournament across three consecutive Sundays in October, one round each (see below for a note about the final round), so you don't have to dedicate an entire 10-hour day to it. Read on for all the details!

Army size is 2000 points, Matched Play. We'll have no paint requirement and use Strike Force missions from the War Zone Nephilim Grand Tournament Mission Pack. Missions will be announced at the beginning of round one. Armies may not change between rounds and army lists will be required, either in paper or sent digitally. Rounds will be timed and last three hours each. Proxies must be approved ahead of the tournament - please contact us for approval. Terrain will be player-placed.

Entry is $20, and each participant will receive a Secondary Objectives Card Pack as well as 15% off Games Workshop and Citadel products for the duration of the tournament. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will each receive a certificate commemorating their victory, and a vote will be held for Best Painted Army at the beginning of the first round, for which that player will receive a Best Painted certificate. Store credit will also be paid out to top finishers based on attendance, and the overall winner will be declared Store Champion and take home the Warhammer 40k Store Champion glass trophy!

Note regarding the final round: if a clear winner cannot be determined at the end of round three (i.e. multiple undefeated players), a playoff round will be held immediately following the end of round three, consisting of only the players contesting the Champion title.
