Grab a friend and get ready for another Two-Headed Giant Commander tournament! There have been a few updates to the ban list and deck construction rules since last time, so be sure to check it out below.
Choose your partner and work together before the day of the tournament to create two complementary decks based on a custom banlist. We're following normal Two-Headed Giant rules, with a few exceptions. Each team will start the game with 60 life. If a single commander deals 21 damage to a team, they lose the game. If a team has 20 poison counters, they lose the game. Additionally, two players cannot have the same commander, but may share any number of other cards.
Decks must follow a custom banlist for this tournament, comprised of our in house Commander League banlist, the MTGO 1v1 Commander banlist, and a few special considerations for this particular format. The banlist will be listed at the end of this event description.
This tournament will consist of swiss rounds based on attendance, with a 50 minute timer for each round. At end of round, teams will have 3 total additional turns instead of the normal 5. We will also include a 30 minute break between rounds two and three.
