League runs from May 25th, 2013 until August 01, 2013.
The winner of the league is the player with the most points at the end of the event.
A player may play up to two games (one Dark Side and one Light Side aka a match) of Star Wars LCG on either OCTGN or LackeyCCG against any registered user of TopTierGaming.com. They may play that player again in the league, but only after they've played a game against a different person.
There is four players available for games - John, David, Tim, and Mike
John plays David in a match (two games - one as a Dark Side, one as a Light Side)
John wants a rematch, but John cannot play another match with David until he plays another opponent. So John plays a game against Mike.
John finishes his game against Mike. David wants to play him in a match, but he still can't because David's last opponent he played was John in their previous game. So John has to wait it out until David plays another player.
David plays Mike in a match.
John and David can now play another match.
League uses official tournament rules provided by FFG.
Players may join the league at any time.
Players may use different decks throughout the course of the league.
League is open to anyone in the world, as long as they are a registered user of TopTierGaming.com. Top Tier Gaming staff are permitted, and encouraged, to play in the league.
Automation is NOT required on OCTGN, but is recommended.
If a player is disconnected from a game, both players score 1 point a piece unless the DS dial is 6 or higher (or if a LS player has destroyed 1 or more objectives). If that is the case, the player that was still in-game gets 2 points and the person that dropped/disconnected gets zero. Disconnected player is considered to have destroyed zero objectives for both DS and LS and dial is at 12 for LS for tiebreakers and to determine overall match winner. This policy is in effect to prevent abuse from disconnections.
To earn points for each game, post a reply to the league topic with the name of your opponent, the outcome of each game, and a copy/paste of the chat log(s). For every game you win, you will score 2 points. If you played a match, and are the winner of the match, you will get 1 bonus point. This is to prevent abuse of the system. If any information is missing, points will not be earned.
